Something in you already knows it’s time

Maybe you’ve been carrying it for years — the anxiety that won’t quiet, the grief that never fully lifted, the spiritual wound you haven’t known how to name. Maybe you show up faithfully for everyone else and wonder privately if anyone will ever show up for you. Maybe you’ve tried to pray your way through it, push your way through it, serve your way through it — and you’re still stuck.

Clinical counseling at Trinitas is for the moments when something deeper is needed. When the weight is real, the roots run far, and you need more than encouragement — you need a safe, skilled companion who can help you find your way through.

What We Work With

We walk with people carrying a wide range of experiences — anxiety and chronic stress, trauma and PTSD, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, spiritual wounds and scrupulosity, and the particular kind of burnout that comes from spending yourself in service of others. We also gently accompany those navigating compulsive patterns and addictive behaviors — the kind that often don’t get named in polite company but quietly drain the life and freedom God desires for you. Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to name it perfectly. We’ll figure it out together.

How We Work

Every session at Trinitas is shaped by who you are and what you’re carrying. We draw on Internal Family Systems, somatic healing, EMDR, and Catholic Christian integration — not as a rigid protocol, but as a set of tools we hold lightly and use thoughtfully. The goal is never symptom management alone. It’s lasting integration — a life where your faith, your inner world, and your daily experience begin to feel like they belong to the same person.

Practical Details

Trinitas offers counseling via telehealth across multiple states, and Marion is also available for in-person sessions in West Virginia. Marion is currently licensed in West Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Lori is provisionally licensed in Tennessee and West Virginia and sees clients via telehealth only. If you’re located outside these states, coaching or IFS guidance may still be a wonderful fit — and we’re happy to help you figure out what makes sense.

We are paneled with a small number of insurance providers. For those whose insurance we do not accept directly, we are happy to provide a superbill that you may submit for potential reimbursement. Insurance coverage varies widely — we encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to understand your benefits, out-of-network coverage, and any requirements before we begin working together. Knowing your coverage is an important part of being an informed participant in your own care.
