We’re so glad you’re considering taking this step.
This page is designed to answer the practical questions that come up before a first session — the logistics, the policies, and what to expect. If something isn’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d rather you ask than wonder.
What to Expect
The first step is our short questionnaire — it helps us get to know you and match you with the right person on our team. Once you submit it, you’ll hear from us within two business days.
Before your first session, you’ll receive a link to our client portal through Simple Practice, where you’ll complete your intake paperwork at your own pace. Everything is handled securely and confidentially.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll explore what brought you here, what you’re hoping for, and what working together might look like. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out — we’ll figure it out together.
Sessions are 45 minutes and are held via Zoom for telehealth clients. Marion is also available for in-person sessions in West Virginia.
Frequency is flexible and depends entirely on you. Some clients meet weekly, others biweekly or monthly. We’ll find a rhythm that fits your life and your goals.
Fees
Sessions with Lori begin at $150. Sessions with Marion begin at $185.
We offer reduced rates for vowed religious and on a case-by-case basis for those experiencing financial hardship. We never want fees to be the only barrier between someone and the support they need — reach out and let’s talk.
Payment is accepted by credit card through our secure client portal. HSA and FSA cards are also accepted for counseling.
Insurance
Trinitas is in-network with Highmark, PEIA, and Peak for clients in West Virginia. Counseling services are billed under Marion’s credentials.
For clients in Florida, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and other states, we are not currently in-network with insurance providers. We are happy to provide a superbill that you may submit for potential reimbursement through your insurance company. Coverage varies widely — we encourage you to contact your insurer directly to understand your out-of-network benefits before we begin.
Coaching, IFS guidance, and consultation services are not covered by insurance and are offered on a private pay basis.
Policies

We ask for 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.
Confidentiality:
Everything shared in sessions is private and confidential within the ethical and legal limits of our professional roles. A copy of our Privacy Policy is available to download below.

Trinitas is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988, or go to your nearest emergency room.
Common Questions
What’s the difference between counseling and coaching?
Counseling is a licensed clinical service regulated by state law, available to clients in states where our clinicians are licensed. Coaching and IFS guidance are not clinical services — they’re available to anyone, anywhere in the world, and don’t require a diagnosis. Not sure which is right for you? That’s a great question to bring to your first conversation.
Do you work with children or teens?
We primarily work with adults. Lori sees some younger clients on a limited basis. If you’re looking for support for a child or teenager, we’re happy to provide referrals to trusted colleagues.
Do you work with clients outside the US?
Yes — coaching, IFS guidance, and consultation are available globally via Zoom.
What technology do I need?
A stable internet connection, a device with a camera, and a private space are all you need. Sessions are held via Zoom.
I’m not Catholic — is Trinitas still for me?
Absolutely. We welcome all who share a Christian faith and a longing to live it more fully. What matters most is not a theological checklist but a shared openness to faith being part of the journey.
