Pilgrims & Sojourners
For the helping professional whose vocation asks for a self-led interior.
If your work means accompanying others, you already know that the most sustaining accompaniment flows from a self-led interior. You also know how rare it is to find a community that holds both the clinical depth and the spiritual depth of that work.
Pilgrims & Sojourners exists for that: a quieter, more focused community for the helping professional committed to their own ongoing inner work.
Small cohort · Monthly live gatherings, recorded · Includes full ECC membership · $75/month or $750/year
This is not continuing education. It's the slower, more honest work of forming the self of the helper across the arc of a career.
Student and religious-life rates available — see Pricing below.
This is for a specific kind of person.
A Catholic helping professional who is already giving a great deal to others. Who hungers for depth. Who is tired of navigating the integration of faith and psychology in isolation.
Therapists, spiritual directors, coaches, ministry leaders, formation directors, chaplains — people whose work requires a self-led interior, and who know that the self of the helper is not a one-time project but a steady practice.
If that sounds like you, keep reading.
This is not where we go to perform competence. It's where we go to keep becoming the kind of helper our clients deserve.
Inside Pilgrims & Sojourners, we hold a smaller cohort. The conversations are professional in the most accurate sense of that word — honest about technique, and equally honest about countertransference, about formation gaps, about the moments in session when one of our own parts took the seat.
The conversation moves comfortably between technique and prayer, between supervision and formation, between what the client needs and what we, as the instrument, need in order to offer it.
What membership actually includes, each month
Being With Jody and Marion — a live gathering on the first Tuesday of the month, 1:00–2:00 PM Eastern, where the community simply shows up together
A monthly teaching or demonstration — the third Tuesday of the month, 12:30–2:00 PM Eastern
Discussion prompts to carry the formation into your week
Networking with other Catholic helpers doing this work
Recorded access to all sessions, so missing a live gathering doesn't mean missing out
Insider access and occasional member-only offerings
And because membership includes full access to Embodied Catholic Circles, the support doesn't stop there — you also receive the Foundations Library, the weekly content rhythm, and the ECC community itself.
A continuity container, not a single event.
Pilgrims & Sojourners sits in a meaningful place in the Trinitas ecosystem — after an initial exposure to this work (through something like It Begins With You or the Fall IFS Consultation Groups) and alongside deeper training or consultation. It's designed to be a place where the formation keeps happening and the relationships go deeper over time.
Some people arrive here after a consultation group or intensive. Some come to Pilgrims & Sojourners first. Either way, the two belong together: a focused arc of training opens the door, and Pilgrims & Sojourners is the long companionship that follows.

FAQs
Who is this for?
1
Catholic helping professionals already doing their own inner work: therapists, spiritual directors, coaches, ministry leaders, formation directors, chaplains, and others whose vocation involves accompanying people through difficulty.
Is this clinical supervision or continuing education credit?
2
What if I can't make the live sessions?
Is there a student or reduced rate?
How do I know if this is the right fit?
No. Pilgrims & Sojourners is a formation community, not a CE-accredited program or a substitute for clinical supervision. It's ongoing accompaniment for the self of the helper — the person doing the work, not just their technique.
Do I need to be a licensed therapist to join?
3
No. Membership is open to any Catholic helping professional, licensed or not — spiritual directors, coaches, ministry leaders, and formation directors are equally welcome.

The consultation groups are a focused, time-bound arc for Level 1 trained IFS practitioners working toward certification hours. Pilgrims & Sojourners is the ongoing home that continues after a training or consultation arc ends — many members move between the two, in either direction.

We'd love to talk about it directly. Reach out to hello@trinitas.guide, or reply to any inquiry email, and we'll help you figure out whether Pilgrims & Sojourners or Embodied Catholic Circles is the better place to start.
Pilgrims & Sojourners is co-held by Marion Bean Moreland, a clinical therapist and IFS Clinical Supervisor whose work integrates Internal Family Systems with Catholic interior life, and Jody Garneau. Together they founded this community for helping professionals who spend their days holding space for others and need a place of their own to keep being formed.
