Meet Janet: Walking with Sensitive Souls Toward Wholeness
At Trinitas, we are honored to work alongside gifted professionals who bring both skill and sanctity into the healing space. One of those people is Janet, a coach whose story is woven with courage, compassion, and a deep call to serve.
A Turning Point of Grace
Janet’s journey into the world of healing began with a quiet call. She felt drawn to apply for training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the IFS Institute. That decision became a defining moment in her life.
“I love the model so much and have experienced miracles through it,” she shares. “I want to share the power of transformation that God has given each one of us inside.”
The Integration of Body, Brain, and Soul
Before discovering IFS, Janet had already spent years studying the human body through Radiology and Diagnostic Medical Sonography. When a friend introduced her to the concept of parts work, something clicked.
“It made so much sense to me and my parts inside,” she recalls. “IFS helped me connect the medical side of the human person with the wellness of the brain and body. It gave me a complete and integrated perspective.”
That integration became deeply personal. Through Level 1 and 2 IFS training, Chris Burris’ Healing Circles, and her time with the Resilient Catholic Community at Souls and Hearts, Janet began experiencing a profound internal shift.
“As I integrated my own parts, I became more present. Present to myself, to others, and to Christ. From that place, I can offer His redemptive love.”
A Distinctive Lens: Faith and IFS
For Janet, faith-integrated healing is powerful because it honors the sacredness of the person. It roots the therapeutic journey in a personal relationship with Jesus and the love of the Trinity.
“We’re not just trying to improve functioning,” she says. “We are being invited into a deep healing that acknowledges the soul.”
In session, Janet may invite a part to feel the Lord’s presence, pray with a Saint, explore a Scripture passage, or even connect parts work with the Stations of the Cross. Each practice is gentle and led by what feels right for the client and their parts.
The Fruit of Formation
Janet accompanies people through grief, trauma, anxiety, and spiritual desolation. She feels especially called to support sensitive women.
“I’ve been there,” she says. “I’ve seen my own inner critics become inner cheerleaders. I’ve learned how slow becomes fast in healing. I know how to notice when my managers take over and meet them with compassion instead of shame.”
When clients begin to sense their innermost Self through calm, curiosity, or compassion, Janet knows she is witnessing something sacred.
“It’s a quiet kind of miracle,” she says. “That moment when someone realizes, ‘I’m still here. I’m not broken. I’m beloved.’”
An Invitation for the Stuck
To anyone who feels unsure about whether therapy or coaching is the next step, Janet offers this simple encouragement:
“Give it three to five sessions. Notice if anything shifts, whether internally or externally. Sometimes, just being seen makes a difference.”
If you are a sensitive soul seeking healing, or a professional longing for more integration in your life and work, Janet’s Christ-centered presence may be the gentle accompaniment you need.
