Counseling, Coaching and Consultations at Trinitas

At Trinitas, we serve in three unique capacities—IFS Guide (Coach), Consultant, and Licensed Professional Counselor—each with its own purpose, scope, and benefits. Understanding the differences helps you choose the kind of support that best fits your needs.

Licensed Professional Counseling

When significant emotional distress or mental health concerns are present, licensed counseling provides a clinical setting for healing. Counseling is available to residents of West Virginia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida

Highlights:

  • 🧠 Clinical care for anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and more

  • 💳 May be covered by insurance (check with your provider)

    • We are only “in network” with insurance companies in West Virginia at this time.

  • 📍 Services only available in states where licensed

Outside these states, we can work together through coaching or consultation.

IFS Guide / Coach (Global)

IFS Guidance (sometimes called coaching) offers personal support for those exploring their Internal Family Systems (IFS) journey. We prefer the word Guide because this work is collaborative—you set the pace, and we walk alongside you. This option is for individuals seeking self-discovery, growth, and harmony in their inner world, without the need for clinical counseling.

Highlights:

  • 🌍 Global access – available anywhere in the world

  • 💬 IFS-focused – explore your “parts” and foster Self-leadership

  • 🎯 Personalized – tailored to your goals, values, and growth

  • 🛡️ Confidential – professional and ethical, but not therapy

Note: Not covered by insurance since it is not clinical counseling.

Consultant (Professional Development & Supervision)

Consultation is for professionals—therapists, coaches, or others in helping fields—looking to strengthen their IFS skills or integrate IFS into their work. This is not therapy; the focus is on your professional development.

Highlights:

  • 📈 Grow your professional skills in IFS

  • 🔍 Case consultation with ethical application of IFS principles

  • 🎓 Supervision for counseling students in WV (ALPS credential)

  • 🏅 Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) for licensed professionals

You remain responsible for your own clinical decisions.
