Trinitas and Integrated Hearts: How They’re Different and How They Support My Work

People often ask me what the difference is between Trinitas and Integrated Hearts. Both are deeply important to me, and both reflect my desire to bring healing, formation, and integration to Catholic professionals and the people they serve. While they share a common foundation, they each have a distinct role in my life and work.

Trinitas: My Counseling and Consultation Practice

Trinitas is my business. I have a small team that works with me, but for me, it’s where I offer counseling, coaching, and professional consultation rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed care, and a deeply Catholic understanding of the human person. Through Trinitas, I accompany individuals who are seeking clarity, healing, and transformation.

Here, I offer one-on-one services that include:

  • Counseling and IFS-based therapy

  • Clinical supervision and consultation for Catholic therapists

  • Coaching and mentoring for professionals integrating their faith with their work

Trinitas is the space where I journey closely with others. It’s sacred ground—where I hold space for people’s pain, honor their stories, and help them discover the wholeness they were made for.

The mission of Trinitas reflects this heart-centered approach:

"Trinitas accompanies children of God toward an integrated, flourishing life by uniting the Catholic Christian understanding of the person with the best of psychological sciences, including Internal Family Systems (IFS). Through counseling, coaching, education, and consultation, we support those who serve others—cultivating clarity, compassion, courage, and connection. Upholding the dignity of the human soul, we journey with you toward deep transformation with love, self-compassion, and virtuous living."

Integrated Hearts: My Support System and a Shared Mission

Integrated Hearts is also my business, but not mine alone.   It looks and feels very different. It began with something small and intimate—what we called our Inner Circle. A group of trusted Catholic women and counselors, graduates of Divine Mercy University, each with a heart for healing and a shared love of IFS, came together to support each other personally and professionally.

Today, Integrated Hearts has grown into a collaborative space for formation, teaching, and community. I co-lead this work alongside Jody, Laura, Adele, and Jennifer. Each of us has our own clinical practice, but Integrated Hearts is where we come together—for shared mission, mutual support, and the joy of creating something bigger than ourselves.

One of our most meaningful offerings that Jody and I have been working on is Pilgrims and Sojourners, a monthly formation and support community for Catholic helping professionals. Through this space, we provide:

  • Coaching calls with live guidance and reflection

  • IFS demonstrations for experiential learning

  • 90-minute teachings and mini-retreats on integration and practice

  • Ongoing formation, encouragement, and spiritual nourishment for those accompanying others in their work

Pilgrims and Sojourners embodies the heart of what Integrated Hearts is about—walking together, forming one another, and growing in both skill and sanctity.

Our broader offerings through Integrated Hearts include:

  • Trainings and courses, like “It Begins With You,” that are both didactic and experiential

  • Workshops, retreat-style teaching experiences, and small group intensives

  • We have plans to be able to offer continuing education credits in our courses

  • A faith-filled community that nurtures the “self of the helper” through deep integration of mind, heart, and soul

The mission of Integrated Hearts says it best:

"Integrated Hearts serves as a conduit for Catholic helping professionals as they integrate the wisdom of Internal Family Systems (IFS) with the beauty of a Catholic Christian worldview. Our didactic and experiential approach bridges head knowledge with heart knowledge alongside foundational truths to support helping professionals as they accompany others on their journey to flourishing."

Why I Need Both

Trinitas is where I live out my personal calling as a counselor, guide, and companion. It’s where I meet people heart-to-heart and walk with them in healing.

Integrated Hearts is the community that holds me up, fuels me with purpose, and provides a place for me to create and collaborate. It is both a support system and a mission field, and I’m so grateful to walk alongside these remarkable women as we serve others together.

Both are essential. One is the work of my hands, the other is the community that shapes my heart.

If you’re looking for a place to heal or a space to grow, I’d love to walk with you—whether through Trinitas or Integrated Hearts.
